(Right) Hello! My name is Max, and I’m teaching English writing at SIJ this summer.I will graduate from Harvard in May with a degree in Music and German Literature. I’m an active musician, working as a conductor, composer, pianist, and double bassist. My other interests and hobbies include reading, chocolate and sushi!
(Left) Hello! My name is Sumire, a rising senior at Harvard. I am a violinist who serves as president of Harvard Early Music Society and Brattle Street Chamber Players. Two summers ago, I co-founded Summer in JAPAN hoping to provide Japanese kids with more opportunities to use English. As a speaker of both Japanese and English, I’ll try my best to run SIJ as smoothly as possible!
