A warm welcome from the locals of Nakatsu, especially the City Mayor!
It was an amazing summer day for SIJ to visit Nakatsu. We had a cultural exchange session with the very talented students of Higashi Kyushu Ryukoku High School. Everyone was taken aback by their stunning performance. The same group of students then guided us through the famous attractions in the city including the Nakatsu castle and Fukuzawa Yukichi’s residence.
