3. Allen Lai, HARVARD ’20

Hi, my name is Allen Lai and I’ll be an instructor for the Public Speaking course at SIJ 2021! I graduated from Harvard College last May with a degree in Chemistry and Physics, and am now pursuing a Master’s of Theological Studies. I love teaching both science and the humanities. I’m excited to teach this course because I had a transformative public speaking experience in high school that greatly boosted my self-confidence, and enabled me to more clearly express my ideas. It’s my hope that SIJ students will have a similarly great time this summer!
