What makes a good public speaker? PS2 students have been learning about the importance of practice, practice, practice! Public speaking is not about speaking perfectly the first time; it’s about trying your best, getting feedback, learning from mistakes, and gentle practice. Today you can see students practicing their final persuasive speeches, which they’re excited to share at tomorrow’s final ceremony! We worked on logic, pacing, timing, and voice projection. All of their speeches are so creative and heartfelt, often well beyond their grade level. Tomorrow, please enjoy the presentations they worked hard on!
