こんにちは、SIJです 🙂 たくさんの準備を経て、ついに7日間のプログラムがスタートしました!!! やっと子供たちに会えて、とても嬉しかったです。ゲストスピーカーとしてSIJ理事の村上憲郎さま、大分市長の佐藤樹一郎さまを迎え、素晴らしいスピーチとオープニングセレモニーを開催することができました。マリさんの感動的なスピーチ、子供たちはこれから始まることに興奮したことでしょう。私はLA3の講師として、英語をもっと知りたいと願う子どもたちと一緒に働く機会を得ました。彼らの理解力の高さには驚かされましたが、週明けのエッセイ発表が待ち遠しいです。Marwan #SIJ #ハーバード #大分
Hello SIJ 🙂 We finally started the 7 day program after much preparation!! It was so lovely to finally meet the kids. We had a wonderful opening ceremony with guest speakers Mr. Nori Murakami, board member of SIJ, and mayor of Oita, Mr. Kishiro Sato. Mari also delivered an inspiring speech that I’m sure helped excite the kids for what was gonna come! As one of the LA3 instructors, I had the opportunity to work with kids driven to learn more about the English language. I was pleasantly surprised by their level of comprehension, and can’t wait to have them share their end-of-week essays!!! #SIJ #Harvard #Oita
