9名のハーバード大学生が約 60名の日本や海外からの子どもたちに英語で様々なアクティブティーを伝授する７日間です。４年目の夏は開会式に佐藤大分市長をお迎えして英語でご挨拶を賜りました。外務省、グルー・バンクロフト財団からのゲストのみなさまからもすばらしいスピーチを英語でいただきました。もちろんチーム大分の大学生もクラスの生徒さんをサポートしています！
This morning marks the commencement of SIJ 2016. We are honored to welcome the Oita City Mayor, representatives from the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Grew Bancroft Foundation. On top of that, 56 participating students with their parents also join us. They also get to know the Harvard students with a small ice-breaking activity before the lecture.
