6月1日、SIJ共同設立者廣津留すみれがユニセフのChildren’s Championship Awardのガライベント（ボストン）で、世界的なチェリスト、ヨー・ヨー・マが設立した音楽グループ、シルクロードアンサンブルと一緒に演奏しました。
翌日2日は、自身が卒業したハーバード大学に足を運び、ハーバード大学美術館のイベントで、同じくシルクロードアンサンブルのメンバーと演奏をおこないました。
SIJ大分では、廣津留すみれとハーバード大学生によるクラシックコンサートが下記の通り開催されます。

On Thursday, June 1, SIJ co-founder Sumire Hirotsuru made her debut at the UNICEF Children’s Championship Award dinner. The dinner was held to honour the award-winner Yo-Yo Ma. According to Sumire, it was an incredible honor to perform on stage with the Silk Road Ensemble as a tribute to Yo-Yo, the founder of the ensemble.
The following night, Sumire had another performance at the Harvard Art Museums with the ensemble. This is the second time Sumire has come to deliver her performance at the museum after her previous one in the opening ceremony.
