ハーバード大学では最優秀論文賞を受賞して、
4年間の学生生活を終えた廣津留すみれが選んだ次の挑戦は、ジュリアード音楽院でした。
TIMES世界大学ランキングのパフォーマンス部門で世界NO1のジュリアードの大学院に無事に合格して、
バイオリンライフを満喫、
この度、5月19日に2年間の大学院課程を修了しました。
卒業式当日は、
音楽部門の最優秀者として壇上で表彰されて式を終えました。
“William Schuman Prize” for outstanding achievement and leadership in music”
優れた業績とリーダーシップを称えて贈られるこの賞に、
本人は、想定外で最高の瞬間でした！と嬉しいサプライズについて語っています。

On May 18th, I graduated from The Juilliard School, earning the Master of Music. The two years I spent at school was so quick and it feels unreal that I am out of school already.
At the ceremony, I received the William Schuman Prize, which is for the most outstanding graduate student in the Music devision; nobody told me about it until my name as called on stage, and I am honestly still in shock! William Schuman was a great composer/administrator/president of Juilliard, and I am honored to have received the prize not just for technical ability but also for leadership. I am so grateful to all the people who supported me throughout the journey at Juilliard.
For two years, I had a great experience working as a member of Ansonia Quartet, a group that I founded with my classmates who I met during the freshman orientation. We performed in so many different countries and occasions, and we were selected to be part of the Honors Chamber Music Program in the second year at school, which brought us so many opportunities including performing at Chamber Music Society at Lincoln Center, Alice Tully Hall, New York City Ballet, and more.
Although I did not expect that quartet would become my main activity at school before coming to Juilliard, now I am so happy that I was able to work with Ansonia for two years.
After summer, I will come back to NYC for more exploration and adventure! Stay tuned!
