さまざまなスタイルの読み書きに重点を置き、これまでに、自己紹介、ジャーナリズム、説得力のある文章などを学びました。生徒たちはこれらの様々な方法で自分自身を完璧に表現しています。彼らがストーリーを構築したり、言葉遊びをしたりすることにどんどん慣れていくのを見てとても嬉しいです。これからショートストーリー、カレッジエッセイ、レターライティングをするときに、どんなものを見せてくれるのか楽しみです。(Allen)
Blown away by the level of the students in LA3&4!
Our language arts course focuses on reading and writing in many different styles, and so far we’ve learned about self-introductions, journalism, and persuasive writing. Our students have been able to express themselves in all these different ways flawlessly. Watching them get more and more comfortable with constructing stories and playing word games is such a joy. Looking forward to what they’ll show us next when we talk about short stories, college essays, and letter writing!
