Basic Writing 1: We work in this class to teach students important basic writing styles and techniques while encouraging lots of fun and an enthusiasm for learning. The students are being introduced to expository, scientific, narrative, and persuasive writing as types of prose that are both enjoyable to create and incredibly useful in life. Most importantly, we try to foster an excitement for the work we are doing that will carry on into the students’ future academic careers!
