On July 16, Summer in JAPAN (SIJ) successfully held SIJ 2022’s Pre-Seminar session at Oita city. SIJ 2022, scheduled to be held from July 29 till August 12, will be inviting students from Harvard University as instructors.

This popular event received nearly 400 applicants and around 150 students were selected to participate. The seminar was conducted by SIJ founder Mari Hirotsuru who underwent exercises ranging from different levels of English reading, writing, and speaking skills together with APU student staff members. The students from Oita city will be presenting their English writings on August 8, with Harvard University students in attendance.
