The 11th Classical Concert
Sumire Hirotsuru and Her Friends
Sumire Hirotsuru, an acclaimed violinist who has been expanding her performance activities in Japan and internationally, and also works as an associate professor and commentator at a university, will perform in her hometown, Oita.
She will be accompanied by Akane Yoshida, a gifted pianist from Fukuoka, and will perform Kreisler’s masterpieces as well as Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”.
Harvard graduate See Chung Yi (Harvard Class of 2022) will also perform on the erhu.
The annual Summer in JAPAN concert series has been attracting a lot of attention with its program and lineup evolving every year.
