小中学生100人に一斉英語レッスン🎤英語初心者も英作文とスピーチできた！初心者が７割、でも
たった75分で英作文をこなし、
ステージでスピーチができました。

今年も大分市内の小中学生100名に英語レッスンを行いました。
毎年アメリカの名門ハーバード大学から学生たちを講師陣に招聘して、夏の2週間を大分市でさまざまなプログラムを展開しています。
その一つが、全2回(7/20 8/10)の英語レッスンSWIMです。ハーバード大学生を主力に、世界から集まったバイリンガル以上の大学生が教えます。
第1回の7月20日は、オンライン英語教室を主催する廣津留真理が100名を一気に指導。11名のアシスタントはAPU立命館アジア太平洋立命館大学からの精鋭。
8月10日のハーバード生のレッスンに備えて、みんな75分間最後まで集中して楽しく英語を学びました。
① 100人の子どもたちと12名の講師陣が笑顔で
② 2~6ヶ国語を喋る講師陣、インターナショナルな雰囲気です

ハーバード大学生が講師陣のサマースクールSIJ ついに開幕です🌻12年の信頼と実績
On July 20th, SIJ held a group English lesson for 100 elementary and junior high school students! 🎤 Even first-time learners managed to write essays and give speeches in English!
Believe in the power of children.
Although 70% of the students were beginners in English,
within just 75 minutes, they were able to write and deliver speeches on stage.
Children are geniuses!
SIJ was founded in 2012 by Sumire Hirotsuru, a violinist from Oita City, and her mother, Mari Hirotsuru.
Every year, they invite students from Harvard University to work as instructors, offering various programs in Oita City over two weeks in the summer.
One of these programs, SWIM, sponsored by Oita City, consists of two English lessons (7/20 and 8/10).
Harvard students take the lead, supported by university students from around the world.
On the first day, July 20, in preparation for the Harvard students’ lesson on August 10, Mari Hirotsuru, who runs online English schools, instructed 100 students in the same classroom.
The 12 assistants were skilled and experienced students from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU).
Everyone stayed focused and enjoyed learning English for the entire 75 minutes.
