The Presentation Skills class has been an absolute joy thus far in SIJ Oita. We have utilized a wide array of techniques to improve our students’ public speaking skills. These techniques include structuring a speech, varying volume and tone, and incorporating gestures into their presentations. We have focused on improving confidence through a balanced approach of structure and freedom. Students are assigned to produce and perform and individual speech at the halfway point of the workshop to provide effective feedback to improve before the final performance. ー Jeff
