今日はイベント盛りだくさん！大分市高崎山でたくさんの野生のニホンザルをこんなに間近でみて、初めての体験に大興奮。午後には重要文化財の素敵な建物で日本文化体験。いけばなでは自分でお花をいけ、ジュリアが１位を受賞。書道ではうちわや色紙に筆で漢字をかきました。今夜は別府市のおいしい料理が楽しみです！
Today, on August 12, Team USA had many events planned for them! They started the day off at Monkey Mountain (Takasakiyama) and saw many monkeys – for many members, it was their first time seeing so many monkeys up close. Next, they took a flower arranging class and were able to arrange their own flowers! A Team USA flower arranging competition was held, with Julia hailing as the winner. Afterwards, Team USA took another class on calligraphy, in which they were able to write a word of their choosing and they each received a calligraphic pen. Tonight, they have one more event planned for them: a dinner at Otte e Sette Oita, where they will wrap up their day by enjoying plenty of great food!
