Cultural Exchange(7/29-8/2)

 
Team USAのハーバード11名とスタンフォード1名とゲストスピーカーが、SIJ7日間英語セミナーの受講生と保護者さまに向けて、自分自身のストーリーをプレゼンしました。
 
13名の関心・旅・リサーチ・故郷・キャンパスライフなどの話に、受講生から質問も相次ぎ、有意義に意見交換ができました。
アメリカ大学生の共通点、それは「旅好き」です。10カ国、20カ国、40カ国以上訪れたハーバード生もいました！
ゲストスピーカーは、秋からHBSで学ばれる高塚恒平さん。日本のヘルスケア問題を医療の外から解決する貴重なお話でした。

Guest Speaker: Mr. Kohei Takatsuka

 

Throughout the week, eleven Harvard College undergraduates and alumni, one Stanford University undergraduate, and a guest speaker presented their own stories to SIJ 7-day English seminar students and parents. Team USA offered diverse perspectives in a meaningful way, followed by questions from students regarding their interests, travel, research, hometown, campus life and more. The common point mentioned by the specially selected Team USA, was an appreciation for traveling, including personal experiences visiting more than 40 countries and residing between two or more!

The guest speaker was Kohei Takatsuka, who will be studying at the Harvard Business School from the Fall Semester this year. His was a valuable story about solving the Japanese healthcare problem with strategies that reach beyond just the medical field.
