Today in SIJ, we started with a fun icebreaker where we worked in small groups to share three things we would bring to a deserted island.
After that, we learned about the four types of writing: narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive.
Then, we explored five different themes: self-care, gender equality, artificial intelligence, personal statements, and climate change.
We explained each theme using examples and YouTube videos.
