In LA1, we began by reviewing the first two types of writing introduced earlier in the week: Expository and Descriptive. We also revisited our grammar lessons on adjectives and adverbs. To kick off our next grammar focus—Conjunctions—we played a fun “This or That” icebreaker, encouraging students to explain their choices as a way to introduce the concept. Afterward, we dove into the Conjunctions lesson and introduced the two remaining writing styles: Persuasive and Narrative. We wrapped up the session by giving students time to begin their final assignment—writing a narrative story based on one of the provided prompts or a topic of their choice. Laurinne LA1
