In CS, we learned all types of programming and real-world applications! We explored what code is, variables, functions, conditional statements, and more complex topics as an introduction. Students were able to take initiative by pursuing a project of their choosing within Scratch!, Python, or web programming languages. This allowed them to code their own games, useful applications, and unique websites!! Beyond this, students were able to engage with questions about the implications of CS problems and emerging topics like machine learning, bias, and cybersecurity. They also explored careers making use of AI and had a lot of time to explore the social aspect of CS, where they group as teams helping each other succeed!
