I had the opportunity to share my story with students after the first day of workshops. I talked about my journey discovering how to use my voice as well as the important role education played in my trajectory to Harvard and eventually Microsoft as a software engineer. Having this level of vulnerability and openness allowed me to connect with my audience while sharing advice from my own lived experiences.
I loved how attentive and interactive the students were during my cultural exchange presentation! Not only was I able to share my personal story, but I was able to engage with students to see what year everyone was in and hear their perspective and understanding of artificial intelligence. ー Halle
