The day after wrapping up SIJ, our Harvard instructors and teaching assistants took a scenic drive along Oita’s beautiful coastline to Takasakiyama Monkey Park! 🐒
We enjoyed the breathtaking views, met so many monkeys—including adorable babies!—and learned about a traditional Japanese custom said to bring good luck. 🍀
And what a lovely surprise—we even ran into some of our SIJ students there! ✨
